There was a legend the natives once spoke of: The dogs made of silver tiger, clad with the stripes of heaven and the powers of the sun itself. Dogs that could take down anything, dogs that fought for good and the sake of all animals, humans alike. Dogs that roamed the country side, dogs whose paws shook mountains and crumbled canyons. A legend of dogs. But this legend is old, the silver dogs of Ohu are long gone, and their bodies rot in the ground along side their greatest allies and their greatest enemies. The silver chapter has ended with the death of the last of the silver akita inus, the last of the great bear dogs. But this silver fanged legend is not over, this book unfinished. Brilliant white pages lay out before all the most powerful dogs of Japan, waiting for a new legend to appear on its pages. Will you be the first to pick up the pen? Ginga Denkiteki Omaesan, just as its name suggests, is a Ginga-universe sort of role-play. Meaning, it is based on the same setting, locations and generalized plot occurrences as seen in the popular anime series Ginga Densetsu Weed and its predecessor Ginga Nagareboshi Gin. However, in all honesty, GDO is nothing short of a wild/stray dog role-play. Though the anime are supplied for your viewing pleasure should you wish to enjoy them, it is not required or even necessary to have seen a single anime episode to partake in the site's many festivities. All the canon characters are long gone, the plot and forum set up geared toward the creation of a completely new, all original Ginga legend based entirely on what you and other members want. Ginga experience is an optional accessory. Beyond being a very laid-back community, GDO features an extensive art and imagery center, as well as massive areas for character development and building. So if you're looking for a dog rp forum full of people dedicated to rping and their characters, as opposed to one of these small trashy sites where people go through characters like toilet paper, this will surely end your search. So come, write your own legend: Ginga Denkiteki Omaesan
